Tractor Wedding Stationery Design
The Brief
To design and create a wedding stationery suite with a John Deere tractor colour scheme.
The client didn’t want the tractor to be the main image for the invitation, but I was asked to utilise the colours in some way.
The Client
Nicola and Simon Murch
The Solution
Tractor Theme Wedding Invitation Design
For these wedding invitation designs, Nicola wanted to use a tractor theme. Her husband-to-be, Simon, loved John Deere tractors, so the colour scheme was going to utilise green and yellow, to match the colour of the tractor.
The wedding reception was held in the local village hall, and the bride and groom were to arrive in a tractor.
For the invitations, they were to be an A6 size, a folded booklet with a paper insert inside.
I designed a ribbon and bow in the green and yellow colours to feature on the front of the invitation. The title was printed onto the card, had the opposite corners rounded, and then was attached to the front using a 3-dimensional sticky pad.
The back of the invitation featured a hand-drawn image of the back of the tractor.
Table Names and Seating Plan
As the client was using a tractor theme, the table names were different brands of tractors.
I decided to include an image of these on the table plan and table names, as well as the tractor brand written for easy identification.
The designs also used a green background to tie in with the colour scheme.
Tractor Wedding Stationery Suite
The order of service booklet and menu design both used the ribbon and bow graphic, to keep things simple.
The place names also used the ribbon graphic, as it added a small design element to the design.
The seating plan and table names both utilised tractor images.
