Travel Wedding Stationery Design
The Brief
To design and create a set of wedding stationery with a travel theme.
As long as it was based around travel, I could have fun with the designs!

Laura and Chris Leworthy
The Solution
Travel Wedding Invitation Design
Laura and Chris wanted to use a travel theme for their wedding invitation design.
They enjoyed holidaying abroad and wanted to emphasise that in their wedding stationery. This was a fun theme to work with!
The couple are both British, and the wedding was held in the UK, so the wedding invitation was designed to look like a UK passport.
I kept the coat of arms on the front cover, to replicate the passport design, but added some hearts, and their initials and simplified it a bit. The inner leaves used a traditional passport layout, complete with a passport-style photograph.
Insert Design
They also required an RSVP and a No Gifts poem to go with the invitation.
The RSVP design was based on a boarding pass design. It left space for the guests to fill in their names and return the boarding pass. There were a lot of positive comments about the design.
The no gifts poem was designed to look like a luggage label.
Travel Theme Wedding Stationery Suite
Laura and Chris required table names to be designed, which were based on countries that they had visited. These were designed to look like the airport signage.
The place names were small suitcases complete with labels. These were also able to be used for favours for the guests too.
I also created an arrivals and departures sign, which was hung over the entrance and exit of the village hall, where the couple had their reception.
The seating plan was based on an aeroplane-themed design.
Their thank you card, was designed to look like a postcard, keeping with the travel theme.
This theme was a fun one to work with, and we were able to get creative with all the elements. There was some awesome feedback from the guests too.
